ABOUT ME
I'm a graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design's intensive illustration program. I developed an affinity for youthful figure and pattern that continues to be the basis for my work. I was chosen to participate in numerous annual children’s book collaborations under the art direction of the Illustration department heads. I was also selected to be in Ringling’s Illest of Illustration show in 2014 and 2015, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2016.
After college, I was fortunate enough to be an Associate Designer at The Michaels Companies, where I specialized in Kids Arts & Crafts and Educational Activities. I also developed art and product across many departments such as General Crafts, Unfinished Surfaces, Apparel, Ribbon, Celebrations, Seasonal Decor, and Packaging. My work received storewide exposure across 1,200 locations for multiple seasons and years.
My current role is as a Senior Product Designer of small accessories for licensed and private label product at Bioworld Merchandising. My focus is on creating original artwork and product in lapel pins, lanyards, keychains, plush collectibles, blind bags, and 3D figurines for 600+ Hot Topic locations, and licensed product for 265 BoxLunch stores in accessories. Other accounts I’m proud to support are Spencer's, Hot Topic, Target, Kohl's, and Gamestop!
In my personal life, I spend a lot of time with my hamster Harriet, watching old television shows, shopping online for inspiration, and listening to historical podcasts.
